Solar energy
Many PV parks are equipped with our products. Among other products, we supply the compact and inverter substations. Expansion becomes an easy task with the use of our products. In addition to the substations, we provide the combination of the correct and suitable components to enable an undisturbed assembly, such as the medium and low-voltage accessories, bushings as well as the fuses so you can start operation and supply energy immediately after assembly.
See below how we worked to provide the Ampia Hospital with sustainable energy:

Transformer substations
Batenburg provides the E-infrastructure for your solar energy solution. We use our transformer substations to house this infrastructure. Your E-infrastructure can consist of an installation, transformer or a control room in which data cabinets are stored.

Busbar
A busbar, also known as bus duct or busway, is used to create a connection between a transformer and the main distribution frame. But it can also be used to power distribution boards, machines and patch cabinets by means of a busbar system.

Inverters
Renewable energy from solar panels must be converted into usable power; this is done in the inverters. Solar panels supply direct current (DC), and the inverters convert this into alternating current (AC). By selecting the right inverters, maximum efficiency can be achieved from the generated electrical power.

Inverter station
Take a look at our smart solution for modular expansion of the capacities of your PV park. The inverter station we designed is an integrated solution that positively influences quality & LCOE.

Solar panels
Thanks to the quality of the materials, solar panels can last 25 to 30 years. A warranty of 20 to 25 years is common. The return on investment of the solar panels is achieved after 8 to 10 years. This means that you can have free electricity from the solar panels for 20 years.

Smart transformer substations allow for use of solar energy
This year, the Bavelse Berg waste dump was fitted with some 94,000 solar panels. Together, these panels provide 10,000 households a year with green electricity. This makes it one of the largest solar farms in the Netherlands. With smart transformer substations, Batenburg Energietechniek supplied the smart grid with which Enexis can connect the farm to the energy grid.
